The 66th Annual Iroquois Steeplechase, presented by Bank of America and benefiting Monroe Carell Jr. Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, will be held Saturday, May 12th at Nashville’s Percy Warner Park.
The Iroquois Steeplechase is one of the oldest, most prestigious and most challenging steeplechase races in the country. With six races and purses and bonuses totaling $395,000, the Iroquois is the richest race on the National Steeplechase Association spring circuit.
The Iroquois is sponsored by the Volunteer State Horsemen’s Foundation in association with the Friends of Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. More than 100 committee chairmen are working to plan the event, and more than 600 volunteers will be helping out on race day.

Gates open at 8 a.m., and the first race starts at 1 p.m.
General admission tickets are $15 at the gate. Children age 12 and under are admitted free. Tailgating and RV spaces range from $300 to $500. Event officials note that these sites usually sell-out far in advance of the event.
