Nashville's New Symphony Hall
The grand Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the acoustical masterpiece built to house the Nashville Symphony, will soon open its doors to the world in early September 2006. Inspired by the world’s greatest concert halls and named in honor of the late Maestro Kenneth Schermerhorn, the 197,000-square-foot neo-classically inspired Symphony Center will transform Nashville’s musical landscape and become the cultural heart of the city’s flourishing downtown area.
